Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Requirements
We are seeking BCBAs for consultation, assessments, and intervention in home, office, or virtually, as an independent contractor across the GTA.

The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments and supervising the implementation of applied behavior analysis programs. This BCBA will have a proven record of working as a team leader. The successful candidate will be in good standing with the BACB and be an approved Clinical Supervisor under the OAP guideline Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conducting both functional and behavioral assessments
  • Collecting and graphing data
  • Providing hands on therapy in a variety of settings
  • Provide ideas and input for new programming and initiatives
  • Working collaboratively on our growing inter-professional team by taking part in the development and implementation of individual behavior plan.
  • Take on a training/mentoring role to new therapists
  • Preparation and development of programs and materials
  • Participation in meetings
  • Demonstrates superior customer service through professionalism, courtesy, consistent and timely follow- up, and positive communication

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Certified BCBA or BCBA-D
  • 1-2 years of experience working as a BCBA supervisor
  • Practical experience with direct interaction and ABA play therapy with children diagnosed with Autism.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent collaborative attitude and willingness to mentor new staff members
  • Recent Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening (not older than 6 months)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $80.00-$100.00 per hour

    Instructor Therapist

    Requirements
    We are seeking Instructor Therapists, or Registered Behaviour Therapist to provide intervention in home. 

    The candidate will be responsible for implementation of applied behaviour analysis programs directed by the supervising BCBA. This candidate will work under OAP guideline Key Responsibilities and Duties which include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Assisting in activities related to the child/youth’s initial assessment and the development of the Behaviour Plan.
    • Delivering ongoing assessments and evidence based services directly to the child/youth and/or family/caregiver. Services can be delivered in a variety of formats (e.g. group, individual, self-directed).
    • Delivering evidence based behavioural services and training to build the family’s capacity to maintain and/or extend skills in the child/youth’s natural environments (e.g., family/caregiver educational workshops, parent training to generalize and maintain the child/youth’s skills, parent/caregiver mediated intervention) as appropriate.
    • Collecting data to monitor progress.
    • Discussing progress with the family, the Clinical Supervisor, and other professionals involved with the child/youth as necessary.
    • Attending meetings relevant to service planning, including Family Team meetings, meetings about the Family Service Plan, and community meetings.
    • Assisting in activities related to the child/youth’s transition planning.
    • Provide ideas and input for new programming and initiatives
    • Working collaboratively on our growing inter-professional team by taking part in the development and implementation of individual behaviour plan.
    • Take on a training/mentoring role to new therapists
    • Preparation and development of programs and materials
    • Participation in meetings

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Diploma as a  RBT, IT or related field
    • 1-2 years of experience working with ABA experience, minimum
    • Practical experience with direct interaction and ABA play therapy with children and or adults diagnosed with Autism and or intellectual disabilities
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • Excellent time and caseload management 
    • Excellent collaborative attitude and willingness to mentor new staff members
    • Recent Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening (not older than 6 months)

    Job Type: Independent Contractor 

    Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

      Communicative Disorders Assistant

      Requirements
      The candidate needs to have flexible schedule as evenings and weekend work is required.

      CDA certificate is mandatory, or SLPA experience. New grads are welcome.

      Minimum 6 months experience required.

      CDA responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

      • Working with children, and adults who may have special needs
      • Targeting speech language goals
      • Facilitate parent/caregiver training/education
      • Proper documentation
      • Stay in contact with SLP
      • Travel for in-home therapy
      • Maintain clean and safe materials, and adhering to COVID-19 precautions.

      Training will be provided.

      Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

      Job Types: Part-time, Contract

      Salary: $40.00-$55.00 per hour

      Schedule: Weekends

        Speech-Language Pathologist

        Requirements
        We are looking to hire a part-time Speech and Language Pathologist to work in home in the GTA. This candidate will report to our office in the Etobicoke area and needs to have flexible schedule as evenings and weekend work is required. Additional languages are an asset.

        Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

        Salary: $65.00-$90.00 per hour

        Education: Master’s Degree (preferred)
